Chiang Mai in 2 days

After cooling the day in the temple, rest, and then hit the town at sunset to one of the night markets to explore. The night market in Chiang Mai is open seven days a week, but many believe that the market for Sunday evening is the best place to go for traditional crafts and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Karon Beach

Although Karon Beach Phuket receives less hype Patong Beach nearby, many visitors consider it one of the best resorts in Phuket. Karon has soft sand, clear water and plenty of space for relaxing in the sun. Because it is so large (nearly two miles in diameter), which never feels crowded, even in high season. There are many places to stay and things to do if you removed not at the beach, but is much quieter and less built very lively Patong Beach.

If you want to enjoy the scene or shopping nightlife of Patong, however, only a few miles.

Move Karon

Karon Beach is one of the largest on the island, the beach and the surrounding area is large enough that you might not want to go from one place to another. Rent a bike or take one of the many mini-buses run the streets to get from your hotel to the beach or shopping. If you must go to Patong a tuk-tuk or taxi which will cost around 200 baht for the ride take.

Directions to Karon

Karon Beach is located on the west coast of Phuket, Patong beach, south, and if you are coming from the airport, take a taxi for about 350 baht on one side or take the equivalent of the island, the van ride through about 150 baht. No direct public bus from the airport to the beach, but if you do not mind change nothing, by public bus from the airport to the bus station in the city of Phuket, then change to a bus to Karon.

Overnight:

Karon has a good selection of resorts, hotels and inns for every budget.

What to expect:

Karon Beach is a sand beach sweeping, long backed by a great people who are plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance. It is not as strong or as lively Patong Beach, but the bars in the center of Karon center can be noisy at night.

Traveling in Thailand in high season

What is the weather in the high season?

Alta cold season overlaps the country, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s and little rain. Although Thailand can be overwhelming during the high season in most parts of the country (including Bangkok and Phuket) sometimes hot and humid, the weather is nice. The days are still sunny and warm enough to enjoy the beaches, but the nights are cool and pleasant, and if you are on tour Bangkok you will not be sweating out after five minutes! It is not surprising that this is the most popular time to visit Thailand.

Cheap Rooms airports; & # 039 Bangkok

Even if you are from and to Thailand in a bus bargain discounted entry road, you can still get the VIP treatment when you are at the airport. None of these proposals are free, but depending on what your circumstances journey that could add a lot of value on your route.

At the airport lounges require that you have a ticket for both business and height of an airline of entry class, but Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, there are a number of options not familiar to people who are not (for Sorry, no airport Don Muang but it is an airport budget anyway).

Are the extra cost worth it to you, but with the recent requirement that you leave for the airport hours in advance to minimize the interference by the political situation that can end up going for a trip anywhere very early. It is good to have a comfortable place to relax, especially if you are ready for a long flight of narrow ridges.

Studios payment

Suvarnabhumi has six rooms Business / First in the international terminal separately, which can be accessed by paying a reasonable rate class. These programs are administered by Louis Tavern CIP Lounge and are used by airlines and Priority Pass, the American Express Platinum Program offers its users. They are not as good as some of the best Business Class lounges (and much smaller), but offer the same basis - relative privacy, relaxation room, refreshments and showers.

All are open 24 hours, with couches and comfortable seating and serves drinks and snacks and soft drinks.

The bar is small but has beer and wine. There are also bathrooms and private areas for a nap. There is also free Wi-Fi and TV.

When you enter your booking, you will receive 1 000 THB or $ 32 at current exchange per person (for a period of two hours, which should be plenty of time if you arrive before flight) to pay. If you book and pay online in advance, you can get a discount of 15%. Although not cheap when you consider the cost of a couple of drinks, you pay a premium for privacy and a comfortable place to relax.

The King Power Airport Lounge

One of the best kept secrets from Suvarnabhumi Airport is the VIP lounge, which offers comfortable seating, snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This exhibition is for owners of large retailers free of airport charges, customer cards King Power. The good news is that you or someone else can be a member immediately. The membership fee is THB 500 but immediately gets a good return THB 500 per tax-free goods, more discounts. And then, get access to the exhibition, too. There is only one living room, on the east side of the airport (near Hall A, B, C and D), it would not make sense if you plan on going to be on the other side of the airport. If you happen to be on this page, which may be the best salon experience almost free from any airport in the region.

Bangkok Airways Lounge

If you happen to Bangkok Airways fly, you have access to their rooms, whether national or international drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport. These rooms offer many of the same amenities as the other - drinks, snacks, comfortable seating area, Wi-Fi and TV. But one thing you will not find in Bangkok Airways - alcohol. Both shows are in the lobby on the east side of the airport where most of its flights from.

Bangkok Airways is an airline quality, so the prices are always a bit higher than the competition. However, if you happen to be definitely fly (and for some routes that are their only option) can also enjoy the convenience.

To visit Top Chiang Mai Temple

There are hundreds of interesting Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai. Some are of historical importance that some beautiful works of art, some of which are very popular with the local Buddhists and some foreign offered the opportunity to learn about Buddhism. Here are five worth a visit.

If you go, make sure that a temple (wat called in Thai) is not only a tourist attraction. Most Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai are there to carry the Buddhist community, which is expected to be quiet and modest clothing to serve. Almost all Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai are free or ask for a donation.

Cha Yen

Yum! You may know that the Thai iced tea is milk, orange juice often served in Thai restaurants in the US and Europe. In typical Thai iced tea, black tea is prepared to find with boiling water with a cloth strainer, and a little sweet condensed milk, served on ice with a little sugar and condensed milk on top. These days, reddish-orange food coloring products, when there may traditionally come from another natural source. If your Cha Yen with no added sugar, you may ask, "Can waan" meaning "is not sweet." You do not have a small sweet condensed milk, but at least you will not get tablespoons sugar on top!

Koh Phi Phi

Phi Phi Iceland, a small island a few hours by boat from Phuket, is the dream of love with the island. The clear waters, majestic cliffs and soft sand are Koh Phi Phi picture perfect paradise. The only downside? Thousands of people already know about it and is in danger of ships, inns and tourists attacked. If you are, however, disturbed by the amount or overdevelopment, you can can find it

beautiful place on earth.

What to expect:

Koh Phi Phi was hit hard during the tsunami in 2004, but gained in strength. The archipelago, consisting of Koh Phi Phi Don (where housing) and Koh Phi Phi Ley, plus a handful of other small islands, is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand, but be very busy. It is traditionally a backpacker destination, although Koh Phi Phi is more upscale, there are more and more luxury resort every year.

Overnight:

No shortage of housing in Koh Phi Phi, as parts of the island, pensions, particularly around Ton Sai are covered. Some are very basic, business, ceiling fans and hot water. There are also luxury resorts on the island, especially around Laem Thong. Check out this list of the best hotels in Phi Phi, but note that due to Phi Phi is so popular, the housing is sometimes disappointing.

What to do:

Islands around Koh Phi Phi (including Ko Phi Phi Lee)

fantastic hiking, diving and swimming. Visitors can enjoy many day trips from Ton Sai every morning, or venture into a nice boat of his own letter. There are also many dive shops on the island.

Getting to Koh Phi Phi:

By boat from Phuket Boat Rasada Pier in Phuket stop three times a day. The journey takes about 90 minutes.

By boat from Krabi: Boats leave from the dock or Klong Chao Fa Pier Jilad two to three times per day, depending on the season, and will take about 90 minutes. During the high season there are sometimes Ferries Ao Nang to Koh Phi Phi.

Check with your hotel or a travel agency for drinks as they change often.

Most ferries arrive at Ton Sai. If you go anywhere else on the island, a long tail boat to its final destination.

Move Koh Phi Phi:

If you stay around Ton Sai, the area that connects the two tracts of land that make the island you go anywhere in the region.

Longtail boats are available for rent, which will be held from beach on the island to the beach. They also make trips to the islands for snorkeling, diving and other excursions in the vicinity.
