Koh Phi Phi

Phi Phi Iceland, a small island a few hours by boat from Phuket, is the dream of love with the island. The clear waters, majestic cliffs and soft sand are Koh Phi Phi picture perfect paradise. The only downside? Thousands of people already know about it and is in danger of ships, inns and tourists attacked. If you are, however, disturbed by the amount or overdevelopment, you can find the most beautiful place on earth.

What to expect:

Koh Phi Phi was hit hard during the tsunami in 2004, but gained in strength. The archipelago, consisting of Koh Phi Phi Don (where housing) and Koh Phi Phi Ley, plus a handful of other small islands, is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand, but be very busy. It is traditionally a backpacker destination, although Koh Phi Phi is more upscale, there are more and more luxury resort every year.

Overnight:

No shortage of housing in Koh Phi Phi, as parts of the island, pensions, particularly around Ton Sai are covered. Some are very basic, business, ceiling fans and hot water. There are also luxury resorts on the island, especially around Laem Thong. Check out this list of the best hotels in Phi Phi, but note that due to Phi Phi is so popular, the housing is sometimes disappointing.

What to do:

Islands around Koh Phi Phi (including Ko Phi Phi Lee) offer great hiking, diving and swimming. Visitors can enjoy many day trips from Ton Sai every morning, or venture into a nice boat of his own letter. There are also many dive shops on the island.

Getting to Koh Phi Phi:

By boat from Phuket Boat Rasada Pier in Phuket stop three times a day. The journey takes about 90 minutes.

By boat from Krabi: Boats leave from the dock or Klong Chao Fa Pier Jilad two to three times per day, depending on the season, and will take about 90 minutes. During the high season there are sometimes Ferries Ao Nang to Koh Phi Phi.

Check with your hotel or a travel agency for drinks as they change often.

Most ferries arrive at Ton Sai. If you go anywhere else on the island, a long tail boat to its final destination.

Move Koh Phi Phi:

If you stay around Ton Sai, the area that connects the two tracts of land that make the island you go anywhere in the region.

Longtail boats are available for rent, which will be held from beach on the island to the beach. They also make trips to the islands for snorkeling, diving and other excursions in the vicinity.
