Hua Hin

Hua Hin beach, just a few hours by car, train or bus from Bangkok, is one of the most popular beaches in Thailand. The beach itself is a long, flat stretch of sand that slopes gently into the sea and is surrounded by a small town with lots of hotels, resorts and guesthouses, restaurants and drinking.

Getting around Hua Hin

Hua Hin is reasonably small enough that no more than two meters do not need to scroll.

If you want to venture further afield you beaches or surrounding area, you should rent a car or a motorcycle.

Getting to Hua Hin

Hua Hin is easily accessible from Bangkok. There are daily trains from Bangkok's Hua Lumpong station with about three hours. There are also several public buses every day from the bus station south of Bangkok Victory Monument (minibus).

Hua Hin attracts many local tourists and many Europeans, and in high season the beach can be packed. Around the city there are probably as many German and Italian restaurants, as there Thais.

What to do:
