Koh Phi Phi

Koh Phi Phi, a small island a few hours by boat from Phuket is the dream of love with the island. The clear water is majestic cliffs and soft sand of Koh Phi Phi a perfect picture of paradise. The only downside? Thousands of people who already know and is in danger of ships, inns and tourists invaded. If you are, however, disturbed by the crowd or overdevelopment, you can find the most beautiful place on Earth.

What to expect:

Koh Phi Phi has been hit hard during the tsunami in 2004, but gained in strength. The archipelago of Ko Phi Phi Don (where housing is) and Koh Phi Phi Ley is, plus a handful of other small islands, is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand, but be very busy. Traditionally, it is a backpacker destination, while Koh Phi Phi is always upscale and there are more and more luxury complex each year.

Overnight Stay:

No shortage of housing in Koh Phi Phi parts of the island, especially around Ton Sai are covered pensions. Some are very simple, business, ceiling fans and hot water. There are also luxury resorts on the island, especially around Laem Thong. Check out this list of the best hotels in Phi Phi, but be aware that due to Phi Phi is so popular, the case is sometimes disappointing.

What to do:

The islands around Koh Phi Phi (including Koh Phi Phi Ley) offer great hiking, diving and swimming.

Visitors can enjoy many day trips from Ton Sai every morning, or venture in a long letter of tail boat on your own. There are also many dive shops on the island.

Getting to Koh Phi Phi:

Phuket Boat: Boats depart from Phuket Rasada pier three times a day. The journey takes about 90 minutes.

Boat from Krabi: Boats leave from the dock or Klong Chao Fa Pier Jilad two to three times per day, depending on the season, and take about 90 minutes. During high season there are sometimes ferries Ao Nang to Koh Phi Phi.

Check with your hotel or a travel agency for exact times as they change frequently.

Most ferries arrive at Ton Sai. If you go to another location on the island, a long tail boat to its final destination.

Moving Koh Phi Phi:

If you around Ton Sai, the area that the two strip of land that make up the island to connect to stay you. Throughout the region on foot

Longtail boats are available for rent, which will take you from a beach on the island to the other available. They also make trips to the islands for snorkeling, diving and other excursions in the vicinity.
