Chiang Mai in 2 days

Chiang Mai is a popular starting point for excursions to other parts of Northern Thailand, offers a lot of visitors who choose this city as a destination in itself, but. Founded in 1296, Chiang Mai is one of the oldest living cities in Thailand and was the capital of the Lanna Kingdom.

The old town, surrounded by a wall in ruins now, is full of ancient temples, and breakfast and many cafes and restaurants houses but small enough to pass through a few hours.

While there is enough to keep you busy in and around Chiang Mai for at least a week, most people will find a good number of days in the old town, to the best of what it has to offer, enjoy.

Chiang Mai has some of the best boutique guest houses and boutique hotels throughout Thailand. If you are in town for a few days, then select a place in the Old Town, so you run into the situation, to most places. Here are some excellent hotels in Chiang Mai in all price ranges.
