Bangkok Grand Palace is open daily, including holidays. Probably closed twice for special events in the last decade. But for a scammers because tourists like to say that the Grand Palais (or the National Museum and Wat Po) is closed for a special occasion, probably in order to tourists elsewhere. Rest assured, the Grand Palais is open! And if someone on the street or even your guide tells you to visit the site is intended for a holiday, diplomatic visit or special event is closed, not to take their word for it. Things rarely deviate from their published hours.
