1. The Grand Palace is closed
Bangkok Grand Palace is open daily, including holidays. Probably closed twice for special events in the last decade. But for some reason criminals like to say that tourists Grand Palais (or National Museum and Wat Po) is closed for a special occasion, probably to allow them to take tourists elsewhere. Rest assured, the Grand Palace is open! And if someone on the street or even your guide tells you that a site you will visit is for vacation, diplomatic visit, or any other special event closed, do not take their word for it. Attractions rarely deviate from their published hours.
